Who doesn’t love a great party? At DNF Medical Centers, our geriatric doctors want all of our patients to be happy and enjoy their quality of life. Although seniors typically enjoy following a schedule, it is nice to have a party to eagerly await. In other words, usually senior citizens have weekly activities they participate in at the clubhouse or at a community center – such as Bingo on Tuesday nights – especially if they are a part of a senior living center. As fun as these activities are, our primary care physician Orlando wants older patients to be able to come together and have a great time and enjoy great food at a beautiful location. The party is usually set in a ballroom.
How Do Our Geriatric Doctors Organize This Celebration?
Now that you know this celebration exists, let us break it down for you. Once a month we like to celebrate our seniors’ birthdays. The goal is to bring everyone together for a fun day of dancing, eating, and conversing. We put a lot of time and effort into this monthly event to make sure it is special for all of our patients. Our geriatric doctors rent out a hotel nearby with a ballroom. We create invitations that we provide to our patients in the office or in the mail if they do not have a scheduled appointment before the event. Creating these invitations is one way our primary care physician Orlando clients love to personalize the event to make all of the invitees feel important. Our seniors truly enjoy this event because it is the one time each month that they can dress up and have a great time. We have buses that will pick you up from your home and bring you to the event. When you arrive, our family of volunteers will greet you and escort you to your table. In the ballroom you will be able to enjoy a variety of Latin American favorites, including food and music. Some of the food that is served includes Spanish rice, pulled pork, mojo chicken, and sweet plantains. It is set up in a buffet style and there are also soft drinks served to guests. The director, Elliot, will make a speech before the food is served. Once everyone has eaten, guests can walk around and look at the different vendors that are there to support all of their medical needs.

For those who do not have too many things to look forward to, this event is our way to thank and appreciate all of our patients. We want to provide them with an atmosphere that they can look forward to. At DNF Medical Centers, we value our patients and their loyalty and this monthly event is our way of recognizing our patients and giving them something to smile about. We care very much about all of our patients and whether or not they have a big birthday celebration with their own family and friends, our family wants to provide them with a great celebration of life.

Our monthly birthday celebration is extremely welcoming, and includes dancing and live singing by our DJ! When everyone is involved, they sing along with the DJ! At the very end of the event, our geriatric doctors will have everyone gather behind a backdrop for a picture and a huge cake is brought out.
